The film is being screening by the Dharma Action Network for Climate Engagement, who go by the foot-tapping acronym of DANCE.
DANCE boogied into life in early 2013 by a group of Dharma teachers, staff and friends of Gaia House to explore what might be possible in bringing Dharma responses to the climate crisis.
The screening of The Wisdom to Survive will be followed by a spiral council – a held space for deeper engagement with the realities that the film brings to you. There will be no pressure to engage with the process more than feels right for you, and simple witnessing is warmly invited.
The Wisdom to Survive will be shown upstairs hall at The Mansion, 36a Fore Street, Totnes on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Doors open at 6.30pm, and the film will start at 7pm. The event will end around 9.40pm. The evening is free but donations are warmly welcome.
