Vision for a Fossil-Free Future

Film 1: The Burden
The first documentary of its kind to tell the story of our dependence on fossil fuels as the greatest long‐term national security threat confronting the U.S., and how the military is leading our transition away from oil. The troops are crying out, in the words of Gen. James Mattis, “to unleash us from the tether of fuel.” But is Congress listening?

Film 2: The Wisdom to Survive
This film accepts the consensus of scientists that climate change has already arrived, and asks—what is keeping us from action? Leaders and activists in the realms of science, economics and spirituality discussing how we can evolve and take action in the face of climate disruption. Amongst those featured are Bill McKibben, Joanna Macy, Roger Payne, Richard Heinberg, Gus Speth, Stephanie Kaza, Nikki Cooley and Ben Falk.
